KNEFLA

can be used for Knefla soup or as a side dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups flour

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients and set aside to rest. In a large kettle, boil in salt water.
  • Cut small pieces of dough and drop into boiling water. Let dough boil for a few minutes.
  • Darin and add a dab of butter. Top with bread cubes that have been toasted in butter
  • and Crisco. Great with stewed chicken.
