Porcupine Meat Balls

Ingredients
  

  • 0.50 c Rice uncooked
  • 0.50 c Water
  • 0.33 c Onion chopped
  • 1.00 ts Salt
  • 0.50 ts Celery Salt
  • 0.25 ts Pepper
  • 0.25 ts Garlic Powder
  • 2.00 tb Oil
  • 15.00 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1.00 c Water
  • 2.00 tb Brown Sugar
  • 2.00 ts Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 lb. Ground Beef
  • 1 lb. Ground Pork

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine the first seven ingredients.
  • Add beef and mix well.
  • Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls.
  • In a large skillet, brown meatballs in oil; drain.
  • Combine tomato sauce, water, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce; pour over meatballs. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour.
